Services & Fees
We've played a large variety of venues in our time. We can keep it completely acoustic or for those who like to get up and dance we have amazing backing tracks we created ourselves.
Our basic rates (including surcharges for various events) are as follows:
- Under 2 hours, is by arrangement only.
- 2 Hours = $350.
- 3 Hours = $450.
- 4 Hours = $600.
- 5 Hours = $750.
- Private event "basic" surcharge = $100.
- Private event "themed" surcharge = $200.
- Corporate event "basic" surcharge = $200.
- Corporate event "themed" surcharge = $300.
- Wedding surcharges are listed on the Weddings page.
All of the services above include music in our breaks via playlists chosen by us and played on our devices only.
Basic Event Surcharges: A bit more thought, preparation and effort goes into event entertainment. We cater our live music to suit the needs of the event, and we supply the music (via our playlists played on our devices) for one hour before and after our live performance.
Themed Event Surcharges: For events that have a "theme" that requires fancy dress and extra preparation such as decorations and other props. We will learn one cover of the client's choice that applies to the theme. Our most extreme example was booked by McDonalds for a Christmas party at a local club. It had an Abba/70's theme and they needed 12 Abba songs performed in fancy dress with props. So, we learnt 12 Abba songs, got dressed to the hilt, then played like it was the 70's for the night. A thoroughly great time was had by all.
There are a variety of extras that can be added to the services listed above. These are:
- Client chooses songs for live sets and playlists for before/breaks/after the show = $50.
- Wireless microphone for speeches = $30.
- Learn a cover song that is not in our current, full repertoire = $100.
- Play/sing one song with us during our live performance = $20.
- Play/sing two songs with us during our live performance = $40.
- Play/sing three songs with us during our live performance = $50.
- Prior rehearsal with us for songs the client plays/sings with us = $100
The options to play/sing songs with us are subject to prior organisation and approval.
Discounts are available for the following:
- Repeat bookings.
- Local community clubs and organisations.
- Charities and fundraisers.
- Fire stations, rescue services, paramedics, police & public hospitals.
- Volunteer emergency services.
- Venues that can offer a weekly of fortnightly residency.
- Other discounts can be applied at our discretion.
We can write a bespoke original song to help you celebrate and remember the important event. To facilitate this we have a meeting, get to know each other, then discuss the elements of the song and how we will go about creating them. We then write, produce and record the song in our world class recording studio (Studio Bungalow).
The project is handled by Andrew who has over 30 years experience owning and running a recording studio. With many successful albums, EPs and singles to his credit, you can be assured your song will be of the highest quality and will be ready for commercial and streaming service release as standard. Also, a copy of the song can be distributed to your event's guests via USB stick or digital download if required. We can even create a music video (featuring the client) to go with the song.
Stylistically we can create songs in any genre. From EDM to country, rock to jazz and blues, acoustic treatment to huge cinematic productions, we have you covered. Maybe a comical hip hop track or a folky love song is what you're after. All is possible when you enter the Studio Bungalow domain, as the song is written and produced to your ideas and taste. And best of all, the song is yours to keep forever.
Due to the huge amount of variables that go into writing, producing and recording a song to the quality described above, the fees for this service have to be negotiated to fit the requirements of the project. The service starts at $400 for a basic acoustic & vocal composition with around 4 to 5 elements in the arrangement.
Song distribution for event guests is available, with pricing being governed by the number of guests (and possible other "non-event" recipients) getting the song.
In certain pre-arranged circumstances, you can sing/perform the song with us at the event. Pricing for this service will depend on your role in the performance, what extra equipment we need to provide so you can join us, and your musical and performance experience. "Prior to event" rehearsals are also available for the client's original song package.
